Map Settings

Customize how your map and pins look from Map Settings. Available options depend on your plan.

Map style

Under Map Settings, choose how the map itself is rendered:

Mapbox Standard — the built-in 3D map style. On Starter and above you can fine-tune it with a Light preset (dawn, day, dusk, or night) and a Color theme (default, faded, or monochrome).
Custom Mapbox Studio Style — point the map at your own fully branded Mapbox Studio style by pasting its Style URL (Wholesale Pro plan). Copy it from Mapbox Studio under Share → Style URL.

Marker themes

A marker theme controls the pin and cluster appearance on your map. Go to Map Settings → Marker Themes and create one.

Pin color — pick a color for the default pin shape (Starter and above).
Custom SVG marker — uncheck Use default pin shape and paste your own SVG for a fully custom marker (Starter and above). Use a viewBox matching your design (for example 0 0 24 32 for a pin, 0 0 32 32 for a square icon); it renders in a 32×32px container.
Cluster colors — set the background, text, and border colors used for clustered pins.
Set as default — the default theme is automatically assigned to newly created maps.

Custom marker SVGs are sanitized for security before display — scripts and event handlers are stripped.

Clustering

When you have many nearby pins, clustering groups them into numbered circles at lower zoom levels and splits them apart as the customer zooms in.

Enable clustering — turn grouping on or off.
Cluster radius — the pixel distance used to group pins. Higher values cluster more aggressively.

The cluster circle's colors come from the marker theme's Cluster colors (above).

Display options

Under Map Settings → Display Options, control what storefront visitors see:

Show search bar — let customers search by city or zip.
Show location list — show the scrollable list alongside the map.
Show products — show the products carried on each location card.
Product grouping — group products by Product Type, Product Category, or Product Tags (or None). When grouping by tags, you can supply a tag allowlist to control which tags are used.
Show product grouping filter — show a filter control so customers can narrow the map by product group.

Custom CSS

Custom CSS styling is available on the Growth and Wholesale Pro plans.

Add custom CSS to fine-tune the storefront widget's appearance beyond the built-in options.

SyncaMap badge

The Free and Starter plans show a small "SyncaMap" badge on the storefront map. The badge is removed automatically on the Growth and Wholesale Pro plans.

Map height

The map's height is set per-placement in the theme editor (the "Map Height" setting on the Store Locator block), not in the app — so you can size it to fit each page.
